Val Bader

Dr. Valerie Bader has been a nurse-midwife and an educator for many years. Both areas of expertise share this common thread: convincing someone they can do more than they think they can. Dr. Bader has practiced nurse-midwifery in many different settings and is devoted to students at MU Sinclair School of Nursing.

AACN/CDC grant will help nurses boost confidence in COVID-19 vaccine


The grant will provide resources to better prepare the next generation of nurses with the knowledge and confidence they need to have conversations that ultimately promote public health.

Women’s Contraceptive Use Correlates to Sex Education and Moral Attitudes


The findings provide a better understanding of the factors involved in women’s decisions about contraceptives and can assist health professionals and educators in developing interventions to improve acceptance and correct use of contraceptives.
