Myra Aud retired July 31, 2013, after a lengthy career in gerontological nursing and nursing education. Upon retirement, Aud received the distinguished title of associate professor emerita. Aud spent 21 years in various roles in institutional long-term care. She joined the Sinclair School of Nursing faculty in 2001 and taught Gerontological Nursing Care.

The school honored Aud with a retirement celebration Aug. 12.
