Sept. 19, 2014 COLUMBIA, Mo. – National data shows, on average, three women are murdered every day by a partner or ex-partner. More than 1 in 3 women experience partner violence in their lifetime. Oct. 28, 2013 Columbia, Mo. — Maithe Enriquez, an associate professor in the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing (MU SSON), was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing Oct. 19 at the Academy’s 40th annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Enriquez, a nurse practitioner, volunteers one day a week at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, where she provides primary care for adults living with HIV disease. Myra Aud retires
Aug. 16, 2013 Myra Aud retired July 31, 2013, after a lengthy career in gerontological nursing and nursing education. Upon retirement, Aud received the distinguished title of associate professor emerita. Aud spent 21 years in various roles in institutional long-term care. She joined the Sinclair School of Nursing faculty in 2001 and taught Gerontological Nursing Care. The school honored Aud with a retirement celebration Aug. 12. View pictures from the celebration.
