Dr. Elizabeth Anderson’s research program is focused on breast cancer survivorship and late-treatment side effects, particularly risk for developing side effects and life-long surveillance activities. These late-treatment conditions include lymphedema, cognitive challenges, fatigue, and psychosocial needs. Dr. Anderson is interested in the lived experience of cancer-related lymphedema, the challenges of self-management, educational needs of health care professionals and people living with lymphedema, and interventions to promote long-term quality of life.
