Dean Miller Named One of Most Influential Deans in Country

This ranking was released by the Texas based company Mometrix Test Preparation.

The Dean of the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing, Judith Fitzgerald Miller, PhD, RN, FAAN, was named as one of the most influential nursing school deans in the U.S. This ranking was released by the Texas based company Mometrix Test Preparation.

Mometrix devised a system in which ‘points’ were awarded to each Dean based on a wide variety of data, including awards, ‘Top 10’ rankings, NIH funding, NCLEX passing percentage, and much more.

“Any recognitions received are due to the quality of our faculty, staff and students.  Together we can do great things here.  We have tremendous potential to transform nursing education, our entire discipline through  research and all of health care,” Dr. Miller said. “[Faculty and Staff’s] accomplishments have been tremendous, beyond that of most schools of nursing.  From the bottom of my heart I thank you for the faculty and staff’s work here, their dedication to this school and to their students.  Thank you for all of their efforts to make us better each day.”

Dean Miller went on to say that she continue to “give my all” to the school and continue to strive to reach new heights.
