Student Huddle Room Reservations

Directions for reserving a huddle room

Reserving on the display (the next 4 hours):
  • Touch the screen if the screen is in sleep mode – on the bottom right you can touch the “…” to see the availability of the whole day
  • On the bottom the next 4 hours are displayed (green means available / red means reserved)
  • Touch on the time you want to reserve (1/2-hour increments) and then touch the word “reserve” –the display will change red with the word “ad hoc”
  • It will ask if you want to extend to the hour and half maximum – click if you want to extend
  • Now the room is reserved
Reserving through email (for the current day or future days)
  • Send an email to the following address mussonroomreserve@missouri.edu
  • In the subject of the email please type: Huddle Room XXX (number of room you are reserving) reservation for (add date you would like to reserve)
  • In the body of the email add following information
    • Name
    • Activity (examples; study group, project meeting, etc. . . .)
    • Room you wish to reserve
    • Date you wish to reserve MM/DD/YYYY
    • Start time you wish to reserve
    • Duration (remember 1 1/2 hour maximum)
  • You will receive a confirmation email when the room is reserved
  • If you are denied because it is already booked – it will tell you the closest time to your original request that it is available and ask if you want to reserve – reply with a yes or no

Huddle Room Etiquette/Rules

  • Huddle rooms are for groups of two or more, not for individual use
  • Rooms can be booked for a maximum of 1 1/2 hours each day
  • Book the room before using it (to reserve, follow the above directions)
  • Limit meeting times to 1 1/2 hours and leave the room on time for the next group
  • Leave the room as you found it, (shade up, tv off, table clean, chairs put back and white board clean)
  • Report any problems with the room to the following email address mussonroomreserve@missouri.edu
  • No food or drinks allowed except water with a secure lid
  • Failure to comply with the above rules will lead to suspension of future use of the Huddle Rooms

Seminar Room Etiquette/Rules

  • Seminar rooms are for teaching and meeting purposes only, not for individual use
  • Rooms must be booked by a faculty or staff member of the Sinclair School of Nursing
  • The faculty or staff member must be in the room during it’s use
  • Leave the room as you found it, (shade up, tv off, table clean, chairs put back and white board clean)
  • Report any problems with the room to the following email address mussonroomreserve@missouri.edu
  • No food or drinks allowed except water with a secure lid
  • Failure to comply with the above rules will lead to suspension of future use of the Huddle Rooms
