Depending upon the graduate minor, students may enroll in 9 to 12 credit hours for designation of the specific graduate minor. Students considering a graduate minor should work with their academic advisor to integrate the required coursework into their plan of study. Students pursuing a graduate minor must submit the following form to Graduate Studies at least one term before conferral of the minor: Plan of Study for the Designated Graduate Minor.
Approval for graduate minors is granted by:
- Student’s major advisor
- Director of graduate studies for the student’s academic program.
- Office of Research and Graduate Studies.
The minor will be conferred when the major degree is conferred, and once a student officially graduates, the notation of the designated minor will appear on the student’s official transcript.
