Dr. Elizabeth Rolwing brings a diverse clinical and educational background to the Sinclair School of Nursing. She earned her Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis and practiced as a licensed clinical social worker, providing mental health crisis services in emergency settings as well as individual and family therapy for hospice patients and families.
A proud graduate of the Sinclair School of Nursing, Rolwing earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with an emphasis in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. She currently practices as a hospital-based psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner licensed in multiple states while teaching in the Sinclair School of Nursing’s graduate program. Prior to joining the faculty at the Sinclair School of Nursing, Rolwing taught a variety of undergraduate nursing courses and coordinated an undergraduate mental health nursing course. Her passion for mental health care continues to shape her clinical work and her approach to educating future psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners.
