Research

Interdisciplinary research brings together nursing and engineering professors to prevent and/or detect falls. Stunt people from the MU Theatre Dept. help with this initial research.
As a research institution, MU’s Sinclair School of Nursing takes great pride in the achievement of its researchers. In their quest for further knowledge in their chosen fields of research, they are improving the nursing profession, with its fundamental goal of finding new ways to help patients.
Since 1995, the School of Nursing has increased its annual grant awards by more than 1,500 percent, and its faculty members continue to publish groundbreaking work. The school offers a diverse range of research projects that provide care to healthy and ill people of all ages, but the school is also proud of its strong and rapidly expanding focus in gerontological nursing.
