Clinical experiences are essential for all BSN degree options at MUSSON. Students develop essential skills in clinical practice. Different clinical experiences are offered depending on the BSN degree option.
Traditional and accelerated students have clinical experiences in a variety of acute, subacute, long-term, and community health care settings, as well as the Simulation Center. Clinical experiences can be in groups of students working with a faculty member in a clinical area or may be with an expert clinical nurse preceptor depending on the course.
RN to BSN clinical experiences are required only in the community health course and are completed with expert preceptors near the residence of the student.
