Cordelia M (Dee) and Irvin Esry Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship Fund

How to apply

You do not need to apply for individual internal scholarships. Submit the scholarship application for your degree program to the Sinclair School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs. Once your application is received, you will be eligible for any scholarship for which you meet the eligibility criteria. All students will also need to have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file.

This fund is awarded to an undergraduate nursing student, ideally in their first year of nursing education, and with preference given to those from small, rural communities. It was established by Dee and Irvin Esry of Hamilton, Mo., who are staunch supporters of the University of Missouri. Cordelia, (Dee) is a 1955 nursing graduate who has served tirelessly on the nursing alumni organization board as well as being a past president of the National MU Alumni Association. She is a professor emeritus of Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph and has been honored across the state for her dedication to the nursing profession and excellence in nursing education.
