Bourbon student nominated for MU nursing award
COLUMBIA , Mo. – Krystle Miller, of Bourbon, Mo., was recently nominated for the 2008 Nursing Alumni Organization's 8 th -Semester Nursing Award for Overall Excellence from the Sinclair School of Nursing at the University of Missouri. The award recognizes potential for clinical proficiency, academic excellence and professional commitment.
“Throughout nursing school I have realized that taking care of patients and their families is my life's passion,” said Miller. “My favorite part of class is walking into the patient's room to see what's in store. It's exciting to get to know different types of people and I am lucky to have a job that interacts with different cultures and walks of life every day.”
