Facilities

It’s not just a building; it’s a center for discovery. But if all of the seats in the building’s labs and classrooms are full and enrollments for future nurses are denied, then the School of Nursing can’t fulfill its mission.

The School of Nursing must expand and upgrade its facilities in order to educate all of the qualified students who seek admission. Our current building is nearly 30 years old and needs improvements to keep pace with our curriculum, technology and growing student and research population.

Our number one priority is upgrading our skills lab to a Clinical Simulation Lab, which will provide undergraduate students with a place to learn and perfect techniques using the latest high-tech equipment.

This lab has become the heart of our student experience, a vital resource that must remain up-to-date to benefit our students and to keep our school competitive.
