Scholarships

Through generous donations of alumni and friends, our Nursing Alumni Organization Endowed Scholarship generates revenue to fund three $1,000 scholarships annually. These scholarships are awarded to a deserving undergraduate, master's and doctoral student.

While $1,000 seems like a large amount, it barely covers the expense of books for two semesters. For undergraduates, the average cost of nursing textbooks is $650. Then there is room and board, which is approximately $7,000 per year.

Add fees and tuition, and today's students are faced with huge financial burdens. So when you receive your nursing Valentine appeal, think about supporting students by contributing to the Scholarship fund.
