Areas of study
The master's curriculum provides the student with a choice of areas of study as listed:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Nurse Educator
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Leadership in Nursing and Health-Care systems
- Adult Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Public Health Nurse/School Health Nurse
Some areas of study may be combined. Contact your adviser regarding this option. Get a copy of required courses at the office of Student Affairs (S235). Most of the programs may be completed in four semesters of full-time study. Some courses are available in summer sessions. Part-time enrollment is possible, but all programs must be completed within five years. Post-Master’s options are available within all areas of study.
