Any nursing student who wishes to initiate a program withdrawal or withdraw from the university should start the process by contacting his or her faculty or academic adviser. A student in good standing who decides to re-enter nursing after having withdrawn will need to reapply for admission under policies and curriculum in operation.
Withdrawal forms will normally be dated according to the date the request was first received with the following exception. When health or other critical circumstances constitute the reason for withdrawal, the dean may designate an earlier date to which academic rules will apply. In no case may the withdrawal be dated after the last scheduled day of course work.
