Nursing Specialty: Adult Critical Care and Nursing Education

Interest Area: Physical Activity, Exercise, Health Behavior Change, Cardiac Risk Factor Modification

Sherri is an adjunct assistant professor in adult nursing, and she joins the faculty with 15 years clinical experience in critical care and emergency nursing in both rural and urban settings. Currently she is maintaining her certification in critical care nursing. Throughout her career, Sherri has gained years of nursing education experience as faculty member and staff educator. She received her BSN from Rockhurst College and Research College of Nursing, a MSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and her PhD in nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
