Nursing Specialty: Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Interest Area: Adolescent OB/GYN

Kristin's teaching and clinical responsibilities at the MU Sinclair School of Nursing include women and female adolescent Health in the Nurse Practitioner Area of Study. Her practice includes gynecologic experience at Planned Parenthood of Columbia, MO. Kristin recently received the Shool's Faculty Excellence Award for Service due to her work with state legislation surrounding Advanced Practice Policies and women's health issues.

Before coming to the MU Sinclair School of Nursing in 1997, her obstetric experience was with Mercy Pregnancy Care Clinic in Hot Springs, Arkansas from 1993-1997 as an OB nurse practitioner and clinic manager. Kristin obtained her BS in Health Care in 1992 from Maryville College, Maryville, TN. She completed her master's in nursing (MSN) at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 1993.
