Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing

Interest Area: Nursing education and research

For 30 years Brenda has been a part of student's lives, both as an instructor and a mentor after they start practicing successfully in the nursing profession. She l oves teaching and has taught every course in the medical/surgical program. Currently she teaches the Foundations for Nursing: Physical Assessment and the Nursing Process course (3270); co-coordinates the Pathophysiology course (N3200); and other seminar courses. Starting May 2003, she also started teaching in the school's new accelerated program. Brenda has also experienced nursing in Australia, New Zealand, Meixco and Thailand.
