Interest Area: Nursing education: improving population based practice through education and research; development of continuing education, particularly online courses

Susan has worked as a public health nurse and has taught public health for 26 years. She has also worked at the administrative level. She is currently working on the National Library of Medicine Grant to promote utilization of evidence-based information for practice. She earned the BSN and MS(N) at the University of Missouri-Columbia and the EdD in Instructional Technology and Distance Education at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
