Valerie Bader is an instructor of nursing specializing in obstetrical nursing and gerontological nursing. Previously she taught in the School’s nurse-midwifery program and as a staff development educator; and she is also a retired child birth educator. Her nurse-midwifery experience was acquired in central Missouri, where she provided care to women for 10 years. Currently, Val is practicing as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Boone Hospital Center.
