Greetings!

I join the students, faculty and staff of the MU Sinclair School of Nursing in inviting you to an educational adventure in the field of nursing.

Nursing is a professional career for those who would like to combine the following words in any number of ways: challenge, service, variety, skills, experience, science, and meaningful work. Graduates of our program work in a variety of settings - from hospital intensive care units, to community organizations and schools, to areas of research and teaching.

The University of Missouri-Columbia is a nationally recognized institution and our school of nursing provides a rich and rewarding learning environment for our students. Our faculty include knowledgeable and skillful teachers, respected scholars and researchers in the nursing profession, and experienced, caring practitioners. Our Master's nursing program has the highest ranking in the State of Missouri, and we are listed 47th in the Nation, as indicated in the U.S. News & World Report. The MU Sinclair School of Nursing is ranked 18th in the nation in National Institutes of Health funding for nursing schools.

Our educational opportunities include a Baccalaureate degree, an RN-BSN on-line option, an Accelerated program along with our Master's and Doctoral degree programs with CCNE accreditation. All programs take full advantage of the superb health care facilities in Columbia, including the University of Missouri Health Care Center, Columbia Regional Health Center, Harry S. Truman Veteran's Hospital, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and Children's Hospital.

We offer a continuum of experiences for our students from rural to international settings. When our graduates enter the workforce they join a network of MU nursing alumni throughout Missouri, the country and the world.

At MU Sinclair School of Nursing, we offer an exciting and special place to study. We invite you to come and be a part of it. We'd love to have you join us!
